Swango to join Hanson in Indianapolis as senior market advisor
INDIANAPOLIS — Shelby Swango, P.E., will join Hanson Professional Services Inc. on Oct. 2 as a senior vice president and senior market advisor. Working from the Indianapolis office, she will focus on business development, creating and executing a growth strategy for Hanson’s infrastructure market while developing and mentoring staff.
Swango will bring nearly 30 years of experience in the transportation and infrastructure industry to Hanson. She most recently was a senior vice president and an advisory services business development director for a global engineering firm in Indianapolis. She received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in civil engineering from Purdue University and is a licensed professional engineer in Indiana. She is a political action committee trustee for the American Council of Engineering Companies of Indiana, is a member of WTS International’s Indianapolis Chapter and serves on Keep Indianapolis Beautiful's board of directors.
